VHC Takes A Slice at the 6-01 Box

On March 16th 2018 at 1448 hours Company 6 was alerted with Engine, Rescue, Truck and Ambulance along with mutual aide companies for a commercial structure fire in the 200 block of South Seton Ave. Duty 6 (Rosensteel) arrived on scene with Ambulance 69 to find a single story restaurant with nothing evident on sides A/D.

Crews investigated and found a fire in the Charlie side exterior wall. Command was established and ET64 pulled a line and opened the wall to make an attack. Tower 6 assisted with opening walls and securing utilities along with checking for extension into ceiling. Franklin E191 (Raven Rock Mtn. Complex) was second arriving and staged at the hydrant to supply ET64 if needed.

Fire was quickly extinguished and assignment held with ET64, TWR6, A69, Franklin E191 for overhaul
